Güral Premier Quality Policy
In order to provide you with high quality service, sustainable tourism and to leave a better world to future generations, some quality management systems are being implemented. Starting with the uppermost levels of our management and ending with the lowest level of personnel, each employee clearly understands the importance of quality management systems, which in turn gives us the possibility of leaving an imprint in the tourism sector, to become a brand that creates difference. We clearly understand that maintaining the level of quality (brand), which we already have, is interdependent with the satisfaction of quality and service to our guests and it is possible only at the highest possible level of service. The quality management systems of our resort are confirmed by Turkish standards institute. We are proud to inform that by adding two new management systems to the Güral Premier Brand from 2016, we as Güral Premier will be the first company with most document management systems in the tourism sector. By implementing the ISO 50001 Energy Management System and ISO 14064 Greenhouse Gas Emissions Calculate System (Carbon Footprint Calculation) we are delighted to share Güral Premier as the first and only facility in the country applying these systems.
1. What are the activities in line with Quality Management which Güral Premier is helding?
- ISO 9001 QUALITY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
Quality Management is improving our work by taking into discipline and system and ensure the continuity.
- ISO 14001 ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
Is a set of studies allowing the withdrawal of lower levels of energy and natural resource consumption by reducing the pollution of Facility activities and recycling of waste in a controlled way.
- ISO 22000 FOOD SAFETY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
Prevention all kind of food hazards from production to consumption that may affect human health.
- OHSAS 18001 WORK SAFETY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
OHSAS 18001 Work Safety Management System: Analysing possible risk of accidents at work place, taking the necessary measures in advance, to educate staff in order to prevent any accident during work hours. The necessity of İSG (Work Safety Management System) is to bring work order to every department.
- ISO 10002 GUEST SATISFACTION MANAGEMENT SYSTEM:
Enhancing customer satisfaction by creating a customer-focused environment that is open to feedback (including complaints), resolving any complaints received, and enhancing our organization's ability to improve our guest’s satisfaction and reviewing the effectiveness and efficiency of the complaints-handling process.
- ISO 50001 Energy Management System:
Involves to manage the energy needed for the comfort of our guests at our facilities in the most effective and efficient way.
- ISO 14064 Greenhouse Gas Emissions Calculation (Carbon Footprint Calculation):v This study helps us to calculate and reduce emissions and increase removals of our activities which are carried out in our resort. v
2. How does Güral Premier Hotels &Resorts ensure the continuity of service – concept standards?
To support and keep the standards of management systems which are mentioned above, with the participation of all departments, internal inspections are being held twice during the season. Moreover the resort is also inspected from the head inspectors of TSE (Turkish Standards Institute) and also certified. In addition, concept – service standards of tour operators which bring guests to us are also inspected through consulting firms throughout the season. Some of these external inspections are ETS Tour (concept – service), Der-Touristic (guest safety), Meeting Point (guest safety), Mastur ( pool safety), ISIS ( Food Safety and Hygiene)..etc.
3.What are the Environment protecting activities which Güral Premier is doing?
Waste Management:
In order to protect the environment and to keep the usage of natural resources under control, waste management activities are being carried out. In resort we separate our waste in 11 different categories such as:
Organic, Paper, Plastic, Metal, Glass, Dangerous wastes, Garden waste, Medical waste, Herbal oil waste, Mineral oil waste, Battery.
Natural Resource Usage:
In our resorts the daily usage of natural resources like water, electric and LNG is being controlled, in order to follow and keep the annual consumption targets.
4. What are the Pool Safety activities which Güral Premier is managing?
With a total number of 56 pools in both resorts, Güral Premier also offers the high swimmer safety substructure for its Guests. Licensed lifeguards are providing security in the entire pool areas. Pool regulations and rules of conduct are advertised in visible areas including Aqua Park. Water quality standards are monitored on a daily basis from our quality department and once in a month from a contracted accredited laboratory by taking samples. Our both hotels have clean pool certificates issued by the Ministry of Health. In addition, inspections of pool safety standards are also being done by travel agencies.
5. What are the Water Safety activities which Güral Premier is managing?
Water which is taken from the municipal water network is first taken to the water tanks of the Hotel, after processing it with chemical and microbiologic standards, water is offered to our guest’s needs.
6. What are the activities in Güral Premier Hotels & Resorts to prevent Legionella disease?
In order to prevent legionella disease, procedures are being carried out primary in rooms and QuuSpa’s water utilization areas and also throughout the resort. Samples are taken from various points for legionella controls.
Legionnaires' disease: is a severe disease caused by an infection in water source which can result in death in some cases.
7. What are the activities carried out in Güral Premier Hotels & Resort for Food Safety?
Prevention all kind of food hazards from production to consumption that may affect human health. Storage: Temperature – humidity controls of dry / cold storage rooms are being done regularly to prevent food safety risk. In addition, to ensure the hygiene standards cleaning procedure is being carried out according to the scheduled cleaning times. Processing:
All food products are processed with the help of technological facilities through the kitchen and bar operations. Hazards that could affect food safety along the production line has been detected and documented. Presentation: All food products that are served to the guests are kept within the required temperature standards (hot> 63 ° C, cold <8 ° C).
8. What is being done in Güral Premier Hotels & Resorts for Guests who Food Allergy?
Guests are asked by the front desk staff while checking in, whether they have any allergen sensitivities. Our guests with allergen sensitivity are being informed about our allergen procedure. Allergenic foods which are classified in the procedure are made visible in the buffet restaurant.
9. What activities are carried out in Güral Premier Hotels & Resorts for Occupational Health and Safety?
In order to ensure full compliance with the requirements of occupational health and safety regulations, all kind of infrastructural processes have been revised and improvements have been made. Risk analyses have been done and preventive measures are taken for specific work related accidents and occupational diseases.
To improve professional qualifications of the staff, occupational and safety trainings are being carried out. Personal protective equipments are provided be the department managers. Department managers and a committee of workers are meeting regularly once a month to review occupational health and safety processes.
